Events today are rarely short of a pictorial record.  After all, everybody has a phone in their pocket and those phones take amazingly high-quality photographs.  The problem isn't usually a lack of pictures, it's an over-abundance of them.  But, if you want to cut through the noise and capture the essence of the event (rather than simply what happened) that's what I bring to the table.  Whether it's a trade show, product launch or 50th wedding anniversary I can create visual memories that will endure.

Having a good, up-to-date portrait photograph is increasingly important.  It adds a sense of professionalism to your LinkedIn profile, provides website visitors with a human perspective of your organisation and helps people engage with one another in physical environments.   I create top quality portrait images for professional or personal use.  And, you don't need to physically come to a studio, because I have a full suite of portable equipment and can bring the studio to you

Buildings

Humans are inextricably linked with the spaces that we occupy.  They provide workplaces, restaurants, entertainment venues, health centres and (of course) homes.  I photograph buildings (interior and exterior) in exactly the same way that I photograph people, capturing personality as much as physical attributes.  Whether your building is old and full or character, new and striving to make a statement, or under construction and establishing a presence, I can capture an image that represents its true reason for being.    

Reportage

For more than 150 years, photojournalism has been an important element of global reporting.  Ever since Roger Fenton was engaged to cover the Crimean War in 1854, photographers have been there to document mankind at its best ... and worst.  I continue to be a committed photojournalist and welcome any and all assignments.  From the fun and charm of a local school fete to the emotionally-charged unpredictability of a street protest, I relish the opportunity to observe and record.
